Ever wonder what a Yellowstone bear does all day? Check out this video for some fascinating grizzly bear behavior.

Digging, yawning, sleeping, back scratching, swimming, and defending his meal from a wolf, that’s what!

Recently Jenny spend 6 hours watching grizzly bear #791 on the elk he had killed several days before. It was a spectacular kill; the bear chased an injured bull elk through a meadow and into the Yellowstone River, where the bear prevailed.

Despite the fact that we usually avoid crowds, the opportunity to watch such wild nature from just across the river was pretty amazing. This video is a small glimpse of the interactions between the bear and other animals that come to investigate.
